Sunday's Sermon Outline

Our senior pastor was gone to Washington, D.C. this past weekend to celebrate an anniversary with his wife so I had the privilege of preaching in both morning services and again on Sunday evening. For Sunday morning I selected as a text the prayer of Jesus in John 17 and focused on the topic of our highest calling being that of glorifying God. Using Jesus’ prayer as a guideline, I sought to answer the question of how we go about bringing glory to God, even as He did in His earthly ministry. This is the outline I came up with and the main points I shared.

Knowing God through Jesus Christ – v. 3
Accomplishing the Work He Gives Us – v. 4
Keeping His Word – v. 6
Going into the World – v. 18
Being One in Christ – vv. 20-23

Gary, I'm John Rutledge with the Baptist Standard web site. I noticed your comment on the BGCT blog and want to tell you that we've changed our dns settings to a new server, so that may cause your problem. I've noticed that some of the PCs in our own office are still trying to go to the old site. Try purging your browser cache, and even your computer's dns cache. Anyway, sorry for the confusion.
